05，Mar，2015, jointly sponsored by the Titanium Dioxide Industry Branch of China Coating Industry Association and Shanghai Oriental Horizon Technology Development Co., Ltd., 2015 titanium dioxide manufacturing and application Forum as the theme of “comprehend the happiness of the century explorations”,held in Shanghai at Five Rings Hotel successfully.
Yang Yuande, the Secretary-General of the China Coating Industry Association, Han Jinyou,, director of the National Development and Reform Commission Industry Department of Petrochemical attended the meeting, delivered a welcoming speech and wished the conference a complete success. The meeting was hosted by the Secretary-General of the titanium dioxide industry branch of the China Coating Industry Association Guoxin Rong, Deng Jie, Deputy Secretary-General & Liu Jie , Deputy Minister for Development of China Coating Industry Association.
Representatives from titanium dioxide manufacturers, processing equipment, and upstream and downstream titanium suppliers, painting, plastic, paper, ink and other industries from nearly 100 enterprises attended this forum.
In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy, demand for titanium dioxide products soared, production also increased. National Titanium Dioxide total capacity in 2014 exceeded 8 million tons, annual production reached 3.65 million tons, China has become the world's largest titanium dioxide manufacturing country. In addition, China has become the world's largest consuming country of titanium dioxide, titanium dioxide apparent consumption of more than 1.8million tons in 2014. However, the domestic titanium dioxide enterprises are still facing a huge market pressure, especially compared with foreign titanium dioxide giant is still a certain gap. The conference is the faith in the Twelfth Five-opening year, in order to further promote the structural adjustment of the titanium dioxide industry in China and conducted in-depth discussion on the future 10-year prospects for the development of titanium dioxide and price forecasts for the purpose.
